European Court of Human Rights

Recent European Court of Human Rights (EHCR) cases are found in HUDOC, the European Court of Human Rights's free online database. HUDOC contains the official version of all judgments, advisory opinions, and decisions since 2016, along with many other EHCR materials such as communicated cases, advisory opinions, and legal summaries, and the Committee of Ministers resolutions.

EHCR cases published prior to 2016 in the European Court of Human Rights, Reports of Judgments and Decisions (Eur. Ct. H. R.) are available in:

EHCR decisions were also published in the Yearbook of the European Convention on Human Rights (Y.B. Eur. Conv. on H.R.), available in the Mabie Law Library stacks at KJC 5132 A13 Y43 (1955-2007).

Cases heard in the now-defunct European Commission on Human Rights (through 1999) may be found in the European Human Rights Reports (Eur. H.R. Rep.), available in Westlaw and in the Mabie Law Library stacks at KJC 5132 A47 E87 (1979/80-1987).
