California Regulations

Contains the codification of California regulations from 1945 to present. They are arranged by year following the code. The library also has the superseded code sections from 1972-1989. Note: this set contains the pages taken out of the original loose-leaf code set as changes were made. They are arranged annually by title.

This collection contains a series of index cards with hand-written annotations which provide all register citations by title, 1945-1990, for California’s regulatory activities, covering all agencies. They are organized by title, with indexed annotations describing which divisions and/or chapters are contained therein.

These materials are especially useful whenever there has been a repeal and recodification sans annotations in the official published code and you are stuck with the chore of trying to reconstruct the prior law. Unfortunately, the officially published annotations should be sufficient, but they are not.

This page includes instructions on how to find past regulations. It does not contain the regulations, it simply gives instructions on how to acquire them.
