OnLAW can be searched for references to a particular statute
- Select Search at the upper left
- The search page defaults to Word Search. Select Statute Search at the top
- Select code to be searched, including CA and U.S. codes, CA Rules of Court, and more. Enter Section number.
- Narrow to a specific area of law or CEB title by using the Available Publications column at left. Click the arrow sign to the left of the heading for a drop-down list of titles, chapters and sections.
- When a topic or title is not selected under "Available Publications," you can link to all topic results where the statute is mentioned. The left-hand column will display the results appearing in each area of law. Click the arrow to reveal the titles and sections in which the statute appears.
