The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Immigration Statistics (OIS) leads the collection and dissemination to Congress and the public of statistical information and analysis useful in evaluating the social, economic, environmental, and demographic impact of immigration laws, migration flows, and immigration enforcement. The Office establishes standards of reliability and validity for the Department’s immigration statistics.

Syracuse University provides database with comprehensive information about federal staffing, spending and enforcement activities of the federal government. Compiles activity data and offers comparative analysis of data from the FBI, IRS, Drug Enforcement. In addition, information about specific statutes used in federal prosecutions and convictions with TRAC's About The Law tool. Only available on-campus or to UC Davis School of Law affiliates.

The Report of the Visa Office is an annual report providing statistical information on immigrant and non-immigrant visa issuances by consular offices, as well as information on the use of visa numbers in numerically limited categories.
